IS THIS YOU?
You're constantly wondering why the narratives about birth without drugs are always so negative?
You feel like everyone thinks you're crazy for wanting to skip an epidural - and they keep telling you "you don't get a trophy."
Your discouraged by the nonstop chatter about hospital birth being a place all empowerment is lost?
You want to do this - but you really need some help with the HOW of it all.
I SEE YOU, FRIEND — AND I KNOW WHAT IS TRUE.
Unmedicated, empowered birth can happen anytime, anywhere, and for anyone - that includes you.
Your body (and your baby's) were designed to do this together - and you can.
I've seen all the stories and I've lived 4 unmedicated births of my own - and I am certain that not wanting an epidural is not crazy AND labor pain IS something you can get through with other tools.
There are good, positive, no epidural birth stories - and this guide will help you get yours.
Repeat after me
Birth is normal.
Birth without meds is not crazy.
Birth doesn't have to be awful.
Birth is something I can love - and want to do over and over again.
YOUR UNMEDICATED BIRTH starts right here.
Your unmedicated birth begins with you. You've got to learn, to dig, to lean in. You've got to look at what scares you and say“I know who you are and I know what to do with you.” You've got to decide that come what may, you have the team & the tools to meet it with confidence, calm, and power. You've got to realize that unmedicated births don't just happen -they're the result of your hard work, starting today, right now.

I thought of your voice and strategies even in this very rapid and emotional situation. Thank you for the work you do to support moms with knowledge and confidence.

It’s helping me ask questions before I’m in labor so
I can emotionally process them and talk with my
husband about how we may handle such issues
or things that pop up during labor.

Thank you for your wisdom - the way you give info is helpful for me who can't take too much at one time.

MEET THE nurse + mama
— LO mANSFIELD
I live for the spark in your eyes when you realize that you actually can do the things everyone told you that you could.
Once upon a time I was a labor + postpartum nurse delivering multiple babies a week and crazy in love with all of it. If you want to meet someone who knows their passion in life? You found them (me!) - and my passion is you and your stories. However, when I started having my own babies, my own mama died. And that season of grief took me from the bedside and into my own healing and growth as a new mama.
But I missed you - so much. So 4 kids and a few years later, I built TLM, the resource I think everyone deserves as they head into #mamalife. In all that I do, you're getting unbiased, evidence- based, intuition-centered education. No slants, no “this is the way it's always been,” no best ways to do anything. I trust you to take information in and make the decisions that are right for your body, your baby, and your family.
